Board Members

Debbie Hare
Board Member
Aside from being a former CADC Board president, Debbie brings heart and soul to the board. She strongly believes in using her skills in Government and Public Affairs to support CADC through strategic communications, advocacy, and community engagement. Her mother in-law was a Member at CADC and she believes in what the center can do for a family which is provide encouragement, hope, and respite. In her free time she is a news junkie, writer, lover of travel, horticulture, and all things historic.

Troy Huber
Board Member
Troy is retired from a technology career at JPMorgan & Morgan Stanley. He now devotes his time to serving others through Christian ministries. He cherishes every opportunity to spend time with his family, and is especially excited about the arrival of his second grandchild. He feels life couldn't get any better right now.

Mike Junior
Board Member
Mike currently works in Medical Sales, but previously was a respiratory therapist. He is on the board because he cares about people in general, is grateful for what he has in his life, and wants to give back and help others.

Katie Meyer
Board Member
Katie is a Nurse that chooses to spend her free time supporting CADC. Her goal is, "To help support a special group of people and their families”.

Kathy Muller
Board Member
Kathy is a retired educator and weekly CADC volunteer. She holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and spent her career teaching both special education and general education students. In recognition of her dedication to older adults and families, Kathy was honored with CADC’s 2024 Creating Hope Award. She enjoys adventures with her family, especially keeping up with her four grandsons, and spends her free time playing pickleball, participating in Mahjong and book groups, and looking for ways to assist CADC in our mission.

William Natale
Board Member
Bill is a former president of CADC. He is a Directors Guild of America Producer and International Impact Award winning author. He became involved with CADC through his son, who handled videography for CADC. He loves to read, travel and serve as a Rotary member. His favorite CADC memory is, "Chuck Turner Day at CADC when an ELVIS impersonator sang "You're Nothing But a Hound Dog", serenading CADC Members and my dog, Sydney (a hound) who often visited CADC Members."

Linda Vidt
Board Member
Linda is a retired Dental Assistant and currently a Deacon at her Church. She brings her skills in fundraising, public outreach, and community service to CADC. Her husband spent time at CADC and she shared her experience. "It gave me a welcomed respite, and great peace of mind knowing he was in a safe, fun environment treated with respect and love. I would like to help CADC continue its mission and to make every day joyful for others.”

Ryan Waite, J.D.
Board Member
Ryan is the owner of The Waite Law Firm, LLC. Ryan believes his role with CADC is driving sponsorship opportunities & donations through local businesses in the Downers Grove area. He loves coaching his kid's sport teams, spending time on the lake with his family, and cheering on the White Sox & Bears, and if there is any time left you will find him on the golf course.

Paul Baker
President
Paul has been on the board since 2019. He is a Realtor, Broker, and owner of Platinum Partners Realtors, Team Baker. He enjoys helping people, weight lifting, and his dogs. His Grandma was a Member in the 1990s and he remembers how much CADC helped his parents. He is glad to be able to give back now.

Todd Thorson
VP & Secretary
Todd is a Cybersecurity Focused Managed Services CTO and family guy by day. In his free time he plays in the band, Forget Hannah, puts his jeep to real use off-roading, and volunteers for multiple wonderful organizations. “At CADC, I handle the technology so our team can handle the humanity. If the Wi‑Fi’s happy, everyone’s happy.”

Maria Kelly
Treasurer
Maria is a partner at Catalano, Caboor & Co. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Susan Sinderson
Executive Director & Board Member
Susan is the strategic leader of CADC. Her professional focus has been on respectfully serving others by building supportive, welcoming communities that foster hope, peace, and rediscovery, both for the Members and for their families. She strives to create a workplace where employees and volunteers feel respected, supported, and inspired to be creative and have fun. Susan has a passion for connecting people and nature through different kinds of horticultural activities, a commitment to practicing and teaching the art of Hygge, yoga, art and music. She believes that with the right environment and compassionate approach, all people can thrive and discover their unique path to meaningful, joy filled lives.

Aside from the back office work that keeps CADC running smoothly, Shandra is the first point of contact for new Members. She keeps the center running smoothly and ensures a positive experience for Members and their families.
